Explore a turnkey power system designed to run your development independently of grid supply. Bring generation, batteries and a managed local network into one complete solution, shaped around your site.
Find out whether there’s a better path on cost and timing.

Make power part of the plan
The cost of waiting is part of the cost of power.
Land/Water/Power/A viable project
You can have the right land, a strong development plan and demand from buyers. But if the power connection doesn’t match your programme, the project can fail to meet your financial targets altogether.
Explore a different path: a complete local power system designed to operate without waiting for a main-grid supply connection. An optional export connection can follow when available.
The Project Savings Review compares the time and cost of your existing power option with a complete local system designed around your development.

A few useful answers
Clear from the start.
What does “turnkey” include?
A turnkey solution brings feasibility, engineering, approvals coordination, procurement, construction, commissioning and ongoing operation into one coordinated package. The Project Savings Review explores how that package could fit your site. Ownership, funding, responsibilities and fees are agreed for your project before proceeding.
How can behind-the-meter power save time?
The microgrid illustrated here places generation, batteries and local distribution behind the site’s connection meter, on the development’s side. The aim is a simpler network interface: the site supplies itself, with one optional connection for surplus exports when available. A suitably designed independent system can remove the need to wait for grid supply before operating—potentially avoiding months of delay. The Project Savings Review checks that opportunity against your actual programme. The network operator still assesses any export connection; behind-the-meter placement alone does not guarantee simpler approval or a shorter approval period.
Does a microgrid mean going completely off-grid?
Our focus here is a complete power system designed to operate independently of grid imports. A fully off-grid site has no network connection. If an export connection is added later, the site is connected for that purpose while its supply is designed to remain independent. Generation, battery capacity, controls and any required backup must meet the actual load and reliability requirements; this is assessed for each project.
Can surplus power earn income?
Potentially. When local generation exceeds what the site uses or stores, an approved system can export surplus electricity through the meter to the wider grid. Payment depends on an agreed export or offtake arrangement with an electricity retailer or other buyer, as well as export limits and commercial terms. The network operator manages the connection; export income comes through the agreed buyer.
Can you guarantee it will be faster or cheaper?
The Project Savings Review is how we investigate that. We compare the project’s requirements and existing option with a proposed alternative. Any savings depend on engineering, network conditions, approvals and commercial terms; a microgrid is not automatically the best answer for every site.
What would the simple MOU ask us to do?
Agree that we can explore a Project Savings Review for the named project, identify a contact and discuss the information needed. The scope, any fees and information-sharing permissions would be agreed before work proceeds. It would not appoint a construction contractor or commit you to purchasing a system.
Your project. A clear way forward.
From a power problem to a Project Savings Review.
Start with your site, your requirements and your programme. The Project Savings Review explores a complete power option and what it could mean for your development.
01
Tell us what’s holding the project back.
Share the site, development stage and power timing. If you already have a grid connection estimate or connection offer, that gives us a starting point.
02
Agree a simple next step.
A short MOU can authorise a Project Savings Review. It gives us permission to investigate an alternative for your project, with the scope agreed together.
03
Compare the options. Then decide.
The review aims to compare cost, delivery time and the proposed turnkey package against your current option. You decide whether the opportunity is worth taking further.
A simple first commitment: explore whether your project could save time and money. The review is a step towards an informed decision, not a commitment to buy or build a system.
A power station for your site. The complete solution.
A microgrid brings generation, storage and local electricity distribution into one managed system. Turnkey delivery brings the complete solution together in one coordinated package.
Generate locally. Store it. Power the development.
Local generation supplies the development. A battery bank stores energy for night-time, and a managed local network serves every building. Generation, storage and any required backup are sized together for independent operation. Surplus can be sold to the main grid when the optional export connection is ready, subject to an agreed offtake arrangement.
The aim is independence from grid supply. A fully off-grid site has no network connection; an optional export connection adds a route for surplus energy. Site-specific design and approvals still apply.
